Kobe Bryant scored 29 points, Derek Fisher had 16, Pau Gasol had 13 and 10 rebounds, Lamar Odom added 12 while Andrew Bynum had 9 and 10 rebounds.
The Lakers team effort paid off as they cruised passed the C’s for the series lead. Boston had an early first quarter lead thanks to Garnett but as the game progressed, missed shots piled up especially by Ray Allen, who had a finals record in game two, but for game three he went for 0-of-8 in 3-point range and 0-of-13 overall. Allen only scored 2 points from two free throws.

The Celtics defeated the Lakers with a final score of 96-89. Series tied at, 2-2.
Six Celtics players scored in double figures led by Paul Pierce’ 19 points and 6 rebounds with 5 assists while Glen Davis added 18, Kevin Garnett, 13, Ray Allen, 12, Nate Robinson, also with 12 and Rajon Rondo, 10 points.
On a losing effort, Lakers’ star Kobe Bryant scored a game-high 33 points with 6 rebounds and 2 assists.
